Pep Guardiola: We have the obligation to vote
The Catalan coach, now at Man City, was in town for Aguero's goodbye
Man City coach Pep Guardiola was at Sergio Aguero’s retirement press conference on Wednesday and he encouraged Barcelona socios to vote in the referendum on Sunday over Espai Barca.
“We are obliged to vote, those of us here and who are not, we have to do it. If Barcelona is special it’s because we can all participate in the important decisions,” he told the club’s media.
Guardiola coached Barcelona between 2008 and 2012. “The proposal from the board is there and we have to do as socios is express ourselves and vote, positively or negatively, but to be there, because this club is a transatlantic marvel that will more forward, as it has done through its history.”
