Pep Guardiola: My period as Barça manager is over -- it's over
The Catalan coach was once again asked about returning to Camp Nou
One day after being asked about Victor Font's comments, Pep Guardiola was once again asked about the possibility of returning to coach Barcelona.
Just in case he wasn't clear enough the first time, Guardiola made it crystal clear that his time coaching Barça is confined to the past now.
"I've said it many times," Guardiola stressed. "My period as Barça manager is over. It's over. I'm going to go back to Barcelona to watch the team, but my spell on the bench is over."
Font, who is running to be the Barça president, has said he wants people like Guardiola back at Camp Nou and that the door will always be open for him.
Guardiola has a contract with Manchester City until the end of the season and was speaking after Saturday's 1-0 win against Sheffield United.
