Despite signing a deal to join Barça in the summer he'll remain with Las Palmas for the time being. His next objective is to impressive at the upcoming U17 World Cup in Brazil.
Pedri admitted that Iniesta had "always been a role model" for him.
The young midfielder even confessed that he had an unsuccessful trial with Real Madrid. "I had a trial with Madrid but I wasn't fortunate. On my first day I couldn't train because of the bad weather. It was incredibly cold."
