Pedri, Ferran Torres and Laporta joining Barça party in Saudi Arabia

The three flew to Riyadh on Tuesday after finally testing negative for Covid-19

Pedri and Ferran Torres are now flying to Saudi Arabia. It was an early start for the two Barcelona players as they headed to the airport for a flight that will land in Riyadh at 15.50 local time (13.50 CET). The plane left El Prat at 08.35 CET and also counted on the presence of Barça president Joan Laporta.

Pedri and Ferran did not fly with the rest of the Barça squad on Monday because they were still pending the results of their latest PCR tests. Both players tested positive for Covid-19 last week but have now tested negative and are able to join up with their teammates for the Spanish Supercopa.

Barça kick off their Supercopa campaign against Real Madrid on Wednesday. The winners will meet Atletico Madrid or Athletic Club in Sunday's final.

Remember that Ferran, a €55 million signing from Manchester City, has still not been registered but will be in the coming hours after Samuel Umtiti's contract renewal and subsequent wage reduction. Therefore, the former Valencia winger is in line to make his debut in the Clasico this week.

With Ansu Fati, Frenkie de Jong and Ronald Araujo all travelling to Riyadh, Eric Garcia, Sergi Roberto and Martin Braithwaite are the only Barça players still injured.
