Pedri & Ferran Torres negative for Covid-19 and off to the Supercopa!
The duo will join Xavi's squad in Saudi Arabia in the coming hours
Barcelona duo Pedri and Ferran Torres have both tested negative for Covid-19 and will travel to Saudi Arabia to join up with their teammates for the Spanish Supercopa.
Neither Pedri nor Torres, who both tested positive last Monday, were part of the initial squad for the competition but can now fly out to Riyadh ahead of Wednesday's semifinal against Real Madrid.
Torres, a €55 million signing from Manchester City, could make his Barça debut against Madrid after Samuel Umtiti's contract renewal allowed him to be registered this week.
Pedri is also returning from an injury and has not yet featured under new coach Xavi Hernandez. That could change this week.
