Barcelona have paid €40 million to Guanzhou Evergrande for the Brazilian midfielder
Neymar, Luis Suárez and Ibrahimovic are the only players Barça have paid more for
Paulinho, Barça’s new signing, is the club’s fourth most expensive ever. The club have paid €40 million to Guangzhou Evergrande for the player. The fee is only exceeded by the fees paid for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Neymar and Luis Suárez.
Although it’s still not clear how much Neymar, Barça’s record signing cost, it is thought to be around €88 million. Suárez is the second most expensive signing in the club’s history, he cost €81.25 million in 2014. These two are followed by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who cost €49.5 million plus Samuel Eto’o (valued at €20 million).
