Paris Saint-Germain have offered forward Neymar back to Barcelona!

Stormy waters at Paris Saint-Germain. Despite securing the renewal of Kylian Mbappe until 2025, with the forward turning down Real Madrid, the club still have various issues to resolve. Some are sorted, such as the departure of Angel Di Maria, but others are generating debate, such as Neymar's future.

Neymar's performances in Paris have got progressively worse and, having recently turned 30, his future at the club has become complicated. He is no longer considered untouchable at PSG and, according to Footmercato, has been offered to various European clubs, among them FC Barcelona.

With three years to run on his contract, it seems unlikely he will fulfill that deal. However, his high salary -- around 30 million euros net -- does make a departure from PSG difficult. Barça tried to re-sign him in the past but their financial and sporting situation has changed greatly since then and at Camp Nou they are not currently considering his return.

But PSG are ready to let him leave with the hope of limiting the damage of his transfer and salary. What they also have to keep in mind is the amount of money they have invested in convincing Mbappe to stay at the club. Per the cited information, PSG have been trying to find an exit for the Brazilian for months. It remains to be seen what the player thinks of everything.
