Is Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar in the orbit of Xavi Hernandez's Barcelona?

Could the Brazilian finally return to Camp Nou after five years away?

Will there be a second Neymar spell at FC Barcelona? That was the big question on Wednesday on TV3.

According to the station, Paris Saint-Germain, who signed Neymar for €222 million from Barça in 2017, are fed up of the Brazilian and want to move him on this summer.

Five years after he moved to France, with the clear objective of leading them to the Champions League, the PSG club no longer want a player who has a contract until 2025.

Kicking Neymar out, though, TV3 explain, would cost PSG around €200m. They have paid him €45m annually since he joined them.

Money

If Neymar does leave, PSG will have invested around €600m in him for five years -- and he has not delivered the expected performances.

Since his first season at the club, he has made moves to return to Barça and this summer is no exception -- and Xavi Hernandez has never hidden his desire to see him back at Camp Nou.

Neymar and Xavi know each other well. They played together for two seasons, the second ending with a treble under Luis Enrique in 2015.
