The French striker is keen to leave the club despite penning a new deal this year

After turning down the chance to sign for Real Madrid for free last summer and renewing his deal with Paris Saint-Germain, there has been another twist in the Kylian Mbappe saga.

On Tuesday, it emerged that his relationship had broken down with the French club. Mbappe is not happy with his role in the team and feels certain promises made to him when he renewed have not been met.

Therefore, Mbappe wants to leave PSG -- and if that can happen in January, then even better.

According to 'Footmercato', Antero Henrique, the right-hand man of PSG president Al-Khelaïfi, has already put a price on the wantaway Mbappe's head and it is not cheap.

PSG would want €400 million for the France star, not a penny less.

Mbappe has a contract until 2025 and it remains to be seen if Madrid president Florentino Perez would swallow his pride and try and sign him again after what happened in the summer.

What is clear is that another new soap opera has just started.
