Paco Lopez: It would be historic to beat Barcelona
The coach admitted that there's not a great chance of that though
Levante coach Paco López believes that it would historic if his side were able to beat Barcelona at the Ciutat de Valencia on Sunday, although he also recognised that it wasn't hugely likely because Barca are having a spectacular season.
"It's one of the toughest challenges because they're making history," said Lopez. "It's a spectacular season in all senses, they have the double. I'm convinced that our team can show our values that we have have constructed during two months and we will compete. The chances of winning are not big but in a game of football anything can happen and we will try.
"Our chances depend on our work, it's extra motivation (to break Barca's run) but I insist in the first place that we have a good game, we won't stop trying. It would be historic for us but it doesn't seem like it will be easy - the idea is to compete."
Lopez also said knowing how to defend against Messi is "the million dollar question".
