Paco Alcacer: You can succeed being a normal guy too
He is in stunning form for Germany and Spain
Borussia Dortmund forward Paco Alcacer, on loan from Barcelona, says "you can succeed being a normal guy."
He is in fine form, having scored seven games in the Bundesliga so far, playing the first half against Stuttgart last week - starting for the first time - and he netted, of course.
The game before for Dortmund he scored a hat-trick in half-an-hour in a 4-3 win over Augsburg.
In total he has netted 11 goals for club and country in just 301 minutes, a goal every 27, and in the Bundesliga he's the top scorer, level with Eintract Frankfurt's Luka Jovic.
"Confidence is key, I saw they are supporting me a lot here, all this is a consequence of a lot of work," said Alcacer to Television Espanola.
"Absolutely (I learned at Barca), I learned a lot in two years. You always have to keep working."
On Messi he said: "I shared a lot with Messi, you see things in training that nobody does. He's incredible. I have no doubts, the best (player in the world) is Messi."
Asked what makes him smile, Alcacer said: "My family, my friends, playing like this... you can succeed being a normal guy."
