Ousmane Dembele's uncle arrested after car catches fire
He had an electric car which was giving off sparks and later was arrested for false documentation
Ousmane Dembele’s uncle has been arrested in Barcelona, according to El Pais.
They say that Malick Dembele showed false documentation to police after his electric car caught fire. Firemen had to put out the flames and police who arrived indicated that the photo on the license is not him.
The incident was said to have happened at 7pm on Friday on one of the main roads in Barcelona.
Various drivers had told him to stop after sparks were flying out from the car, which ended up on fire.
Dembele’s uncle is said to have had a series of traffic fines, many for speeding, with this being a potential reason he wanted to hide his identity.
