Ousmane Dembele given a standing ovation by Camp Nou

Xavi loves Ousmane Dembele’s game. When he arrived on the bench he said the Frenchman could become the best in the world in his position. Improving him is a challenge for the coach. Dembele has had many videos and lessons to help him choose better and understand the winger role.

Dembele has total confiedence from Xavi. He’s the player in the squad who can most unbalance opponents and for that, the coach wants him renewed. Dembele has won his place in the team ahead of Adama Traore.

Dembele has been very important in the last few games. He was vital at the Bernabeu and was the most dangerous player against Sevilla. Almost all the danger came down his flank. He crossed for De Jong, who could not convert.

In the second half, Barcelona fed even more through him, with a fine cross for Ferran Torres that he did not score. Dembele also fed Pedri for his goal, and teed up Ferran again, but the forward’s effort was saved by Bono.

Dembele applied himself in the press and helped Dani Alves defensively too. He also got a yellow card for protesting.
