Ousmane Dembele came to train on Tuesday with his team-mates, even though officially he no longer has a contract at the club. The news was revealed by a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Instagram story post, which showed Dembele in the background, changing, despite images from Jijantes showing his car departing moments before.
The video from Auba was to show Memphis Depay having fun but Ousmane Dembele appeared in the background.
His contract ended on June 30 but he is poised to renew for the club, at a 40 per cent pay cut.
Dembele, in the image in the story, is in the process of getting undressed to change into his training kit. He is said to have taken his new season medical this morning so he could even be on Barcelona’s tour of the USA.
