The French wide man is an option for the Parisians who know Leo Messi is going

With Leo Messi likely to leave Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent this summer, the Parisian side are already looking for candidates to reinforce the team's forward line for the coming seasons. The objective is none other than to wrap up Kylian Mbappé and offer him a good sporting project that will push him to complete the additional year that he signed with his renewal (two seasons until 2024, plus another until 2025).

In this sense, the French newspaper L'Équipe points out that there are four candidates to sign for PSG this summer: Kolo Muani, Bernardo Silva, the Blaugrana winger Ousmane Dembélé; as well as the midfielder Pierre-Émile Höjberg. The Frenchman's contract with Eintracht Frankfurt expires in 2027, while the Portuguese's contract with Manchester City expires in 2025.

As for Dembélé, his contract ties him to FC Barcelona until 2024, with a termination clause of €50m - half of which would go into the player's pocket and the other half into the Blaugrana's coffers.

It is not the first time that the Vernon native has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain, where he would be part of a forward line alongside Mbappé, with whom he has forged a friendship beyond the field of play, having played together in different France national team training camps.

Dembélé is an essential part of Xavi Hernández's sporting project and he has already conveyed the coaching staff's desire to secure the player's renewal to the sporting management. It is one of the pending folders and it is hoped that an agreement can be reached with his agent, Moussa Sissoko, until 2027.
