Ousmane Dembele and the No 7 of hope
The French forward is injured but when he's back he'll have a new number on his back
Ousmane Dembele has two months to go before getting back on the pitch, but he is hoping his bad luck is over. When he returns he’ll have the No 7 on his back.
He suffered a knee tendon injury playing for France at the Euros and was operated in June in Finland. Dembele played a lot last season without injury, wearing the No 11 shirt.
Now he will have the number that he had from his days in Borussia Dortmund in 2016-17. It’s a dream number, not just for that, but also for those ahead of him who wore it, including Villa, Larsson, Gudjohnsen and others.
