Oscar Mingueza was 'sacrificed' by Koeman but is still onside
The Barcelona defender is working with maximum professionalism
Oscar Mingueza is a team player, who always pulls in the direction of the team and never complains. He knows being in the Barca squad is a gift, something he has to enjoy and live with maximum professionalism. Last season Ronald Koeman had to use him and he responded magnificently, playing 22 games straight.
This season he’s not enjoying as much. Sergino Dest and Sergi Roberto have largely been used at right-back. The last two matches he has, however, come in. However, he suffered against Vinicius in the Clasico and was taken off at half-time.
Oscar will continue working and waiting for his chances. Koeman still has a soldier at his disposal.
