The options to buy Barça will have on Francisco Trincao at Sporting
The Portuguese winger fell out of favour and never secured a place in the team
It’s not official yet but Francisco Trincao leaving Barcelona is done. The Portuguese forward had been training with the squad in the last week but now will be going to Sporting Lisbon.
They will pay 10m for 50 per cent of his rights. Effectively, if they sell him on, Barcelona will get half the fee. He will be on a five year deal there and Barcelona will have the option to rebuy him.
Record say they can buy him for 15m in the first season, 17.5m in the second and 20m in the third year he is there.
Barcelona signed him in 2020 for 31m euros from Braga. He went on loan to Leeds last year who had a 30m option to buy but did not activate it.
