The Kashima Antlers striker joins for four seasons to play in the B team
Hioki Abe, the Kashima Antlers forward, has signed for Barcelona on a four year deal. The 20 year old costs 1.1 million euros and has a 40m euro release clause as a Barca B player, which rises to 100m if he plays for the first team.
He was chosen as the best J League player in 2018. Abe took his medical on Monday and signed his contract under the eye of Silvio Elias, the head of youth football, with Pep Segura, Jose Mari Bakero and Guillermo Amor also present.
