After a long arduous ordeal on the transfer market deadline day, Barça have finally announced the Mexican full-back.
After two weeks of total uncertainty over the signing of Julian Araujo, Barça have finally made his arrival official. The player will sign for the next three and a half seasons and will join Barça Atlètic.
The signing of the Mexican full-back from Los Angeles Galaxy was denied on the last day of the market for just 18 seconds. The club has appealed to the TAD regarding this.
Araujo landed in Barcelona on Thursday and will train with Barça Atlètic under the orders of Rafa Márquez, while waiting to find out if he can finally be registered. "Very happy with this big step in my career and ready to give everything for this great club," said the Mexican upon his arrival.
