OFFICIAL! Estanis Pedrola joins Sampdoria on loan
The former Barça Atlètic player moves to the Italian club, who will have an option to buy for 3 million euros
To no one's surprise, the move is now official: Estanis Pedrola is leaving for Sampdoria. The Catalan club out an official statement confirming the move.
"FC Barcelona and Unione Calcio Sampdoria have reached an agreement for the loan of the player Estanis Pedrola for one season, until 30 June 2024. The agreement includes a conditional purchase option of 3 million euros by the Italian club at the end of the season. For its part, FC Barcelona reserves an option to buy back the player for 7 million euros and 50% of a future sale," the Barça statement said.
Estanis Pedrola and Barça found the Italian proposal most appealing among all other offers received. His good performance at Barça Atlètic attracted the attention of some Primera Liga clubs in Spain. However, Sampdoria pushed hard for him.
Estanis Pedrola will have the challenge of returning the Samp to where they deserve to be after being relegated to Serie B last season. The goal is to go up.
