Official: Bojan completes move to MLS side Montreal Impact
The ex-Barça player has signed an 18 month deal after leaving Stoke City
Former Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic has completed a move to Major League Soccer, signing for Montreal Impact on an 18-month deal.
Bojan moves to Canada to play in MLS after having his contract with Stoke City terminated. He has spent the last five years with the English club, although has also spent time on loan with Mainz 05 and Alaves in that time.
After bringing his time in England to an end, Bojan has opted to move to the North American league despite having offers to continue in Europe.
"Montreal are the club that showed the most interest in me," Bojan said. "I had offers to stay in Europe but this move appealed to me.
"MLS is a competition with a lot of talent and is growing quickly. I can't wait to play in the league. I am physically and mentally prepared, I have worked really hard this summer."
