Louie Barry has left FC Barcelona and signed for Aston Villa. The Premier League club have paid €1,048,000 for the 16-year-old striker, who only arrived at La Masia in the summer from West Bromwich Albion.
Barry made his debut on the 12th October and appeared in a total of seven matches, scoring two goals. He came off the bench three times in the UEFA Youth League. His adaptation to life in Spain was slow and his level wasn't deemed good enough to compete for a place with the Juvenil A side. The club considered dropping him to the B side but their squad is already full.
In the end, Barry has decided to return home and try his luck with Aston Villa instead.
