Nine Barça players among the nominees for FIFA's FIFPro World11

Alba, Mascherano, Pique, Busquets, Iniesta, Rakitic, Messi, Neymar & Suarez make 55-man list

FIFA announced on Thursday the 55 players pre-selected for the FIFA FIFPro World11 2016, a prize awarded by the players to the players. More than 25,000 players from more than 75 countries participate in the vote in which they select a goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three strikers. Nine FC Barcelona players have been chosen: Jordi Alba, Javier Mascherano, Gerard Piqué, Sergio Busquets, Andrés Iniesta, Ivan Rakitic, Leo Messi, Neymar and Luis Suárez. Real Madrid beat them, though, with 11 pre-selected players. This is the complete list of nominees:
