Neymar's comment about Philippe Coutinho that is not popular in Liverpool
The Brazilian stars are great pals who go way back and Neymar said something that has pricked ears on Merseyside
Neymar, FC Barcelona's Brazilian star, is enjoying himself at home at the moment, thanks to his country's big 3-0 win over Argentina. The forward is shining with his friend Philippe Coutinho, whom he would like to join him in Catalonia.
Liverpool do not want to let their midfielder escape and reports in England say he is being offered a new contract. But something Neymar said is not pleasing people on Merseyside.
"To play with Coutinho is always a joy," said Neymar. "We've been team-mates for years and each day I think what we were made to play with each other."
That is not good news for Liverpool as they aim to keep hold of the midfielder.
