Neymar: more minutes than Paco Alcacer without scoring

Neymar: more minutes than Paco Alcacer without scoring

The Brazilian has gone 796 minutes (and nine games) without scoring in a Barcelona shirt

Barcelona's Brazilian forward Neymar is going through a tough moment in front of goal. The crack closes the year having failed to score for his club since October. It's a run of 796 minutes without a goal in an official competition.

The last time Neymar scored was in the Champions League win over Mancherster City on Oct. 19, in the 89th minute. If we focus solely on La Liga, the Brazilian is on an eight game run without a goal (a dry streak of 742 minutes) and the last goal in the league was a penalty in the 4-3 loss to Celta Vigo at Balaidos.

As for Paco Alcacer, the former Valencia forward has gone 591 minutes without an official goal for Barça. Remember that he netted his first goal in a friendly last week against Al Ahli. It took 13 games and 707 munutes to arrive. Therefore, Neymar's drought in official games is longer than Alcacer's: 796-591.
