The Brazilian star is concerned by how talks over a transfer have cooled in recent days and wants Barça to speed up his move home

Neymar Jr. has mentally put an end to his time in Paris. Despite having three years left to run on his deal with PSG, the Brazilian wants to end his stay in Ligue 1 early. He's aiming to do what no other player has been able to up until this point: force his way out of the club.

UNCOMFORTABLE FEELING

According to SPORT sources, Neymar has suffered in these last few days because he feels like his move back to Barcelona hasn't moved forward. The Brazilian is desperate to leave PSG and has told Barça as much.

Neymar informed everyone at PSG that he wanted to avoid joining up with the team for preseason training before he left for the Copa America.

Leonardo, the new director of football in Paris, believes it would be best for everyone if Neymar moved on.

Neymar, for his part, hasn't wasted any time. He quickly agreed terms with Barcelona and didn't think twice about accepting a pay cut to earn the same as he did before he left the Camp Nou two years ago. The Brazilian will also drop his court case against the club and has told Real Madrid 'no', as well as other sides such as Manchester United who have enquired about him.

BARÇA COULD DO MORE

Neymar feels Barça could have done more in the last few days. Perhaps the internal conflicts which saw Jordi Mestre quit and Pep Segura's role called into question has delayed movements in the Neymar deal. For the player, he's desperate to leave and feels a lot of time has been wasted.

The message from his people to Barcelona is clear: it's time to move things forward and advance talks between the two clubs. Neymar will continue to pressure PSG into accepting his departure.

A DIFFICULT TASK

Negotiating a deal for Neymar with PSG was never going to be easy. Josep Maria Bartomeu was clear when he said that, at the moment, there was no 'Neymar saga' to talk about. An indication of how tough it is to deal with a club that has endless amounts of money and can close the door on a deal at any moment.

Neymar was disappointed by Bartomeu's comments and his refusal to publicly admit they were in talks over a transfer.

Pini Zahavi is the man running between both clubs, passing on messages, as they look to find a solution. Previously failed moves for Thiago Silva, Verratti and Rabiot have all caused major disagreements and bad blood. Bartomeu was careful not to further rock the boat, something he didn't have a problem with doing in regards to Griezmann and de Ligt.

Despite Neymar's wish for this saga to be over soon, Nasser Al-Khelaifi won't sanction any move which makes PSG look weak. He's willing to keep the Brazilain at the club even though he's burnt a lot of bridges with the coaching staff and some teammates.

IMPORTANT TO REMAIN TACTFUL

Barça are working on a deal which will see Neymar rejoin them next season and launch a fresh assault on the Champions League. However, it's important they don't break this fragile peace agreement with PSG as any potential conflict would all but assure that Neymar won't be leaving this summer.
