Neymar’s father revealed in court that the Barcelona star has a mega offer on the table to leave Barcelona, according to Catalunya Radio.
The club in question were reportedly willing to pay the player's 190 million euro release clause.
However, Neymar Sr. also said in front of judge Jose de la Mata that his son intends to renew with Barça and that he has given him orders not to listen to any other offers.
He was speaking at Spain’s National Court in Madrid on Tuesday to testify in front of De La Mata regarding DIS’ complaint over the original deal which took Neymar from Santos to Barcelona.
During his testimony it came out that the 23-year-old has a huge offer from another club, but it’s of no interest to him as he is very happy at Camp Nou.
During his appearance, Neymar da Silva also excused his son of any potential blame, affirming that he had nothing to do with the management of his signing at Barcelona.
Brazilian company DIS owned 40 percent of the player’s sporting rights when he played in South America, but claim they didn’t see their fair share of the transfer fee.
According to sources close to the defence, Neymar Sr. responded to questions for two hours as the judge continues to look into the transfer.
