Neymar has cost more money in transfer fees than anybody else
The Brazilian has moved from Santos to Barcelona and then from Barcelona to PSG
Neymar continues to move money around Europe. Yet to make his first appearance in 2020, Neymar is determined to prove his worth after becoming the most costly football player in history. According to these findings, his moves to Barça and PSG put him top of the accumulative list for transfer fees. Journalist Rafael Reis posted his findings in his blog for UOL Esporte.
Neymar has cost a combined €310m euros. According to 'Transfermarkt', the Brazilian's move from Santos to Barcelona is valued at €88.2m. His later move from Barça to PSG cost €222m.
Cristiano Ronaldo is second in this list after moving from Sporting Clube de Portugal to Manchester United, then from United to Real Madrid and more recently from Madrid to Juventus. In total, Cristiano cost €230m.
Rounding off the top three is Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku. During spells at Anderlecht, Chelsea, West Bromwich, Everton, Manchester United and Inter Milan he cost a total of €203.6m.
