Neymar was another protagonist in the presentation of the sponsorship agreement between Rakuten and FC Barcelona in Tokyo.
Asked about his relationship with Messi, the Brazilian denied there was any battle to score more goals. “I don’t care who scores if we win together. It’s a team sport and when Leo scores a goal I’m happy. As well as teammates, we’re friends off the pitch and the important thing is we’re happy, and if we win everyone is happy. That’s our goal”, the Brazilian said.
Neymar also commented on his host country: “I’ve visited Japan several times and whenever I’ve come I’ve enjoyed it. The people in Japan are very hospitable and I like Japanese food a lot”.
