New Barcelona signing Bassey is already training with B team
The Nigerian’s arrival satisfies the demands of Gerard Lopez, who wanted a more physical attacking player
Ezekiel Bassey quickly got involved at the club’s training ground after signing for Barcelona B. The Nigerian forward, 20 years old, joined on Tuesday and on Wednesday he was already exercising under the orders of Gerard Lopez.
Bassey joined thanks to two illustrious names - Mario Rosas and Harana Babangida - both were big hopes for the youth team and they helped him get a chance at Barcelona B.
He will stay some days in Barcelona before returning to Nigeria to answer all the beaurocratic questions he has to deal with before he can join properly. At first he will play on loan and at the end of the season the club will execute their option to purchase him.
