Neto will have surgery on his fractured wrist tomorrow
FC Barcelona have announced that their new goalkeeper will undergo surgery tomorrow
The first major setback of the season for FC Barcelona is Neto's wrist injury. The new signing injured his hand whilst training in the United States and underwent tests yesterday afternoon. They confirmed the club's worst fears and Neto will go under the knife to repair his fracture on Tuesday.
Doctor Xavier Mir will oversee the surgery.
Barça have refused to state how long Neto will be out for until the operation has been completed. However, this type of injury will keep him on the sidelines for at least a month. Iñaki Peña will occupy the backup role to Marc-Andre ter Stegen in the Brazilian's absence.
