The goalkeeper was injured in the second half but managed to play on

Barcelona goalkeeper Neto ended Wednesday's Copa del Rey win against Ibiza with a sprained ankle, the Catalan club have confirmed.

Neto was injured in the second half after falling awkwardly but managed to play on for the final half an hour as Barça came from behind to win 2-1.

The Brazilian stopper will now undergo further tests on Thursday to reveal the extent of the injury.

Marc ter Stegen had warmed up and looked set to come on against Ibiza before Neto finally decided to play through the pain.

Neto, a summer signing from Valencia, was making just his fourth appearance for the club. He also featured against Inter, Espanyol and Atletico Madrid.

Barça trailed Ibiza to a ninth-minute goal for large parts of Wednesday's game but two late goals from Antoine Griezmann helped them book their place in the last 16.
