Barcelona summer business will not be limited to a deal for Lautaro Martinez or negotiations with Juventus over Pjanic and De Sciglio, the club are also working on sales, which will be fundamental to balance the accounts.
One of the players on the transfer market who could leave is the Brazilian goalkeeper Neto, who only joined last summer from Valencia. Barça are ready to listen to offers around 22 million euros. They paid 26 million.
Neto, who has an Italian passport, understands his situation, as the backup to Marc ter Stegen, is complicated. Therefore, he's ready to leave, but not for anyone.
He has told the club he will leave as long as the buyer is in European competition and is offering him the starting spot.
Meanwhile, Barça have their Plan B: Iñaki Peña, the Barça B goalkeeper and the first-team's No.3, after Ter Stegen and Neto.
If Neto does leave, Peña could replace him as the No.2. In that scenario, Barcelona would take an option to extend his current deal, which runs until 2021, until 2022.
