Nelson Semedo: I prefer to attack than to defend
The right back spoke at an event and said he couldn't have imagined he'd play at Barca
Nelson Semedo spoke at a Nike boots event in Cornella on Thursday. The Portuguese Barcelona right back answered questions about his career and his game.
"I'm a fast player who likes to have the ball and to attack more than to defend," said Semedo. "The team always wants the ball and to attack. Barca's full backs have to be able to go deep and have good fitness to get up and down the pitch, it's not easy, and to that you have to add quality."
Semedo is pleased with how things are going.
"Playing at Barca is a dream. I never imagined that I could be at this club. I'm lucky to have team-mates like Leo (Messi), Ousmane (Dembele) and Geri (Pique), I'm enjoying it as much as I can.
"It was important in my career to have played as a midfielder at the start, something that made me better."
