Lyon will definitely be without the suspended Fekir

Alarm bells are ringing at Lyon. The French side already know they will be without Nabil Fekir against Barcelona in the first leg due to suspension but now there are doubts over two further players.

Both Tanguy Ndombele and Jason Denayer are struggling with injuries and in a race against time to make Tuesday's round-of-16 tie against the La Liga leaders.

Midfielder Ndombele, a key part of Bruno Genesio's side, didn't play a single minute of the win over Guingamp because of an ankle problem. Denayer's case is different. He did play but he had to be taken off after an hour, replaced by Mendy.

"We're waiting for the tests, I hope he can be fit for Tuesday's game," Genesio said after the game.

Another player, Marcelo, also ended the game struggling but it was only a case of cramp and the defender should be fine for the first leg against Barça this coming week.
