Napoli open the door to Barcelona move for Koulibaly
The Senegalese defender has been a key player over the years for Napoli
Kalidou Koulibaly is moving closer to Barcelona. The Blaugrana want a top class centre back and as the Senegalese does not want to renew with Napoli, they will sell him as he has a year left on his contract.
Napoli have told his team they can look for a new club for him. Barcelona know that for 30m euros they can get him and they have entered the fight, although various other Italian sides ant him.
Koulibaly is Xavi’s priority to reinforce the back line. Time is the biggest issue.
Barcelona need to sort out financing and sell players like Lenglet, Umtiti and Mingueza. In the meantime, Koulibaly has interest from Juventus, Roma, and Inter. The defender does not mind waiting and has told Barcelona that his priority is to come to Camp Nou.
