Nagelsmann looking forward to the Bayern v Barça encounter in the Champion League group stage
The Bayern Munich coach spoke out after the draw that put him in the group of the Culés
With Barça and Bayern Munich set to meet again in the group stages of the 22/23 Champions League, the Germans' coach Julian Nagelsmann left a 'message' for the Blaugrana.
"I hope we can achieve similar results to those we've had against Barça in recent years," said the Bavarians' coach.
Bayern have scored 14 goals and conceded just two in their last three games against Xavi Hernández's men, including the 2-8 win in the Champions League.
Nagelsmann also referred to Inter and Viktoria Plzen, their other group opponents. Of the Italians, he said, "they have strengthened very well. It's a club that had a lot of success and have regained strength in recent years", while of the Czechs he noted that they won the league and "that means something".
