The Italian coach wants the club to pull out all the stops and keep the winger

Barça want to bring him home but he's worried about accepting a secondary role

Despite Gerard Deulofeu's loan spell with AC Milan coming to an end, coach Vicenzo Montella is putting pressure on the club to keep the winger at the club.

According to TuttoSport, "Deulofeu had a big impact, he spent six important months at Milan. Now he's said goodbye, but who knows if he can return."

It continued: "The coach has been able to get the best from him, who now has doubts about his future. Deulofeu does not want to be on the bench, so he's not sure if going back to Barça is the best option."

Deulofeu wants to know from Ernesto Valverde what his role will be and the club will have to convince him that he will be important, even if they can't guarantee him anything. The buy-back clause from Everton must be executed before the end of June.

The winger is available for Barça for 12 million euros and has done for Milan what he was never able to do for Sevilla or Everton, impressing with consistent performances.

Milan have a manager who has faith in him and who wants to keep him at the club. In a World Cup year, Deulofeu will have to decide what's best for him and his career.
