Monchu's departure from FC Barcelona could be confirmed today
The youngster is expected to leave on loan to either a LaLiga or Segunda side
Barça B youngster, Monchu, could be about to leave the club as soon as today. Various sides from LaLiga and Segunda want the midfielder on loan and a deal could be imminent. Monchu would like to stay with the first team but, like Riqui Puig, there's far too much competition to guarantee him the minutes he needs.
Monchu's development wouldn't be aided by another season in Segunda B with Barça B. Some of the LaLiga sides to express an interest are Celta, Betis and Huesca.
Barça don't want to lose Monchu on a permanent basis and that's why they will only consider a loan move with no option to buy.
As talks progress over Monchu's exit, it's entirely possible he won't travel with the Barça B squad.
