Monchi speaks about Sevilla's chances of re-signing Aleix Vidal

Sevilla sporting director Monchi has spoken about reports linking Barcelona's Aleix Vidal with a return to the club in the January transfer window.
In an interview given to 'El Larguero' on Cadena SER, he rejected the idea of the right-back returning to Sevilla due to the competition for places in Jorge Sampaoli's side.
Monchi said that "there are very few options that Aleix Vidal can return to us as it is a role that we have well covered. The same goes for [Dani] Parejo [Valencia]. They're players we like but we're overbooked."
He was also clear that his future lies away from Sevilla, however he insisted he will leave on good terms.
"I have an idea. I made a mistake in the summer airing something that should have been more discrete," he explained.
"I'm not going to break my contract. When I leave it will be a solution between both parties and if not, I will stay with Sevilla."
