Miralem Pjanic's chance has arrived, with the Champions League. After the international break and with various important games coming up, it's time to rotate.
Frenkie de Jong is essential for Koeman but he needs rest, as does Sergio Busquets. In one of those pivot roles is where Pjanic will be deployed when Barca make their Champions League debut against Ferencvaros on Tuesday. With the Clasico coming up too, one of the two regular starters must get some time off in midweek.
The former Juventus man and Trincao are likely to play. Both suffered problems in the week so didn't get anticipated starts against Getafe. Both could feature now. Trincao played 10 minutes against Getafe, but Pjanic did not feature.
Pjanic would like to get minutes under his belt because after the Clasico comes a return to the Juventus Stadium, where he plied his trade before the summer move.
