Once again the threat of an injury is knocking at Pedri's door. The Barcelona midfielder had to be taken off for the final 20 minutes of Saturday's draw with Rayo Vallecano with a knock.
Pedri noticed the pain quickly and was seen grabbing his groin area, confirming that there were reasons to be worried.
After speaking with the bench during the water break, both the player and the coaching staff preferred to take no risks and Franck Kessie came on in his place.
Pending an official comment from the club, the extent of the problem is unknown and is unlikely to be revealed until after tests on Sunday.
