Midfielder Oriol Busquets agrees to new deal with Barcelona
The Catalan club have reached an agreement with one of their most talented youngsters
Great news for Barcelona. The club have announced that they have reached an agreement in principle to renew Oriol Busquets' contract. The young midfielder's current terms expired on Saturday.
Busquets is one of the best midfielder to come out of La Masia in recent years. He has already made his first team debut and Ernesto Valverde, in a press conference, suggested that he could count on him in the coming season.
The youngster suffered a serious injury earlier this year, though, and is still recovering with the hope of doing preseason with the first team.
To stay at Camp Nou, Busquets has rejected big offers from powerful clubs. His goal was always to stay at Barça and now all that remains is for him to sign his new contract.
