Messi's Ibiza holiday is over as focus turns to the Gamper Trophy
The Barça captain will be one of the main attractions ahead of the match against Arsenal on Sunday
Leo Messi's time in Ibiza is almost over as he gets ready to return to Barcelona to begin preseason training. His wife, Antonela Rocuzzo, posted a photo on her Instagram of the couple having dinner with close friends on the Spanish island.
Messi and Antonela were accompanied by Pepe Costas, amongst others, who is actually a Barça employee and friend of Leo.
The Argentine star is expected back in Barcelona this weekend and will play a part in the Trofeo Joan Gamper on Sunday. Barça take on Arsenal in a match which doubles up as the official presentation of the first-team squad to the fans ahead of the new season. Although the club still has two more preseason matches, both in the United States and against Napoli, before the new LaLiga starts.
Whilst Messi was on holiday he found out about his three-month suspension from CONMEBOL for his comments about the officials in the recent Copa America tournament.
