The users on FC Barcelona's official website have named Messi's as the best goal their team has ever scored
Lionel Messi's goal against Getafe has been named as the greatest goal in FC Barcelona's history. In a vote which took place on Barça's official website, that strike ended up with the most votes.
The goal came in the 2006/07 season in a Copa del Rey match at the Camp Nou. The Argentine received the ball from Xavi Hernandez, he skipped through the challenges of Paredes and Nacho. He continued running forward, dancing his way past Alexis and Belenguer and into the box. Luis Garcia came rushing out but he too was unable to predict Messi's movement as he knocked it past him and then into an empty net.
Sergi Roberto's goal against PSG, Messi strike's against Athletic Club in the Copa del Rey final and Leo's goal against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu were the other finalists.
