Leo Messi and the other internationals have undergone their medical tests this morning
Ernesto Valverde now has almost all his first-squad available to him
Leo Messi and the other international players who had a few extra days of holiday before reporting for pre-season are now at the Ciudad Deportiva in Sant Joan Despí to undergo the various medical and physical tests required before starting work on the training ground.
Messi, together with the other players who travelled to Japan, Piqué, Neymar and Arda Turan; as well as Andrés Iniesta, the captain of FC Barcelona, and the club’s internationals, such as Busquets, Jordi Alba Umtiti, Digne and the U-21 Denis Suárez started their pre-season with new manager Ernesto Valverde this Friday. They’re first training session will be this afternoon.
As a result, only the goalkeeper Marc André Ter Stegen and the Portuguese central midfielder André Gomes, who were involved in the Cofederations Cup, have still not reported back for pre-season.
