Messi explains how he learned of Neymar move to Paris Saint-Germain
In an interview with ESPN, Messi spoke about Neymar
He said he had no idea if he would leave or not at his wedding
Leo Messi is on a media tour with Argentina and after telling TyC that he doesn't have an input in squad selections with his national team, he's spoke to ESPN about Neymar's departure.
The journalists asked him if he knew at his wedding in Rosario at the end of June that Neymar was leaving for Paris Saint-Germain, as has been suggested by Xavi Hernandez.
And Leo replied: "Honestly, no. Until the last day of the tour [of the United States] we were talking and we didn't know anything. He said that he still wasn't clear what to do and he didn't know what he was doing. Right until the last minute, we were speaking to him."
"Others have come out saying that they knew, but the truth is that we were talking with him until the last minute and that's what he was telling us."
