The Dutch attacker has been linked with Barcelona but may stay

Since Quique Setien's sacking and Ronald Koeman being appointed there has been a lot of rumours about signings at Barca, a team that needs plenty of changes.

As well as Ajax's Donny van de Beek, there are also rumours about Lyon's Memphis Depay, another Dutch player. RAC1 said Barca were interested in him. He thrived as he helped Lyon reach the Champions League semis, reappearing in the final phase of the tournament in Lisbon after suffering a knee ligament injury on Dec 15.

The 26-year-old forward says he might stay where he is though.

"Been reflecting back on the @championsleague journey! We put the club and the city Lyon back on the map, but we have to strive for more," wrote the former Manchester United player.

"I wanna thank all the supporters for the support! I know we have enough work to do to be back at that stage ASAP so let’s continue to put the bar high!"

If he doesn't leave or sign a new contract then he can move for free next summer.
