The Dutch striker's had a hamstring issue since December now

Barcelona trained Thursday to prepare for Sunday's derby at Espanyol. Eric Garcia trained as normal and could return this weekend but Memphis Depay is still training alone.

A hamstring has sidelined him for nearly a month now, although he is getting better and a return to full training could be on the cards next week, ahead of the Europa League game against Napoli.

If Xavi Hernandez decides not to force the Dutchman, his return could come next weekend at Valencia.

Memphis has not played since the Supercopa semifinal against Real Madrid on Jan. 12. He came on in the second half after initially returning from a hamstring injury in the league game at Granada four days earlier.

In total, he's now missed nine games due to the hamstring injury since obtaining it in Munich in December.

Memphis has made 21 appearances for Barça this season and is the team's top scorer with eight goals, all scored in LaLiga.
